Support for the Wall

The Bellingen Bouldering Wall is the end product of an idea from three young men, who turned their enthusiasm for climbing into a real asset for the whole community.

From start to finish, the groundswell of support for the project from the community, businesses and organisations was astonishing.

In the two years from initial idea to grand opening, hundreds of hours were volunteered, thousands of dollars were raised in funds and multiple organisations gave time and money to making the project happen.

A $6,000 grant from local not-for-profit organisation ETC got the ball rolling, but donations from community members and organisations also made a huge contribution.

Want to support the Bouldering Wall?

The Wall runs entirely on volunteer community support, and there are a number of costs for keeping the Wall open, safe and operating.

Maintenance crew

The Wall needs occasional upkeep and maintenance. If you’ve got the time or tools, come along to one of our working bees. To join in the next gathering, keep an eye on our Events page, the Hub Facebook page or posters in the Hub or around town.

Make a donation

You can help by donating funds to pay for ongoing maintenance, purchases of climbing equipment and other continuing on-costs.
