The Buttery offers free treatment and support for young people experimenting with or misusing, alcohol and other substances. They use the Hub as a safe space to meet with young people and families.
For young people & their families
The Early Intervention Program provides evidence based alcohol and other drug intervention and treatment service works to meet the needs of young people, their families, and the local community.
It supports young people 12-24 years of age who are
Experimenting with alcohol and other drug (AOD) use
Experiencing harm as a result of their AOD use
At high risk of escalating their AOD use
Young people can refer themselves to the program, or the referral can come from schools, doctors, youth services or families.
The program also supports the families of young people who are participating in the counselling service and assists people working with young people who have AOD issues. It provides a single point of contact for families to find information and support.
The Buttery uses the Hub as a safe space to meet with young people and families.
