Costume designer and stylist Amanda Fairbanks offers a fabulous, fun, and playful upcycling workshop for young people in the second week of the school holidays. Using her own hand-selected fabric collection as well as offcuts from past productions, you will transform an array of op shop garments into daring wearable art pieces and cool costume creations!

Guided by the wild and creative mind of a costume designer you will be encouraged to think outside the box and embrace unlikely ideas and materials. Learn new sewing, manipulation and embellishments and take away the creative process forever. Byo sewing kit and scissors.

8-11 yr : 9:30am – 11:30am

12-15 yr : 1:00pm – 4:00pm
