The Bellingen Shire Youth Services (BSYS) is a State government funded service providing support to young people ages 12 – 18, and/or their families, across the Bellingen Shire.
They offer early intervention support to young people and/or their families, with the intention of preventing crises from occurring for up to 3 months, with the option of extending this support for a further 3 months if required, in order to meet your required goals.
They work from a case management approach, which is confidential, voluntary and your privacy is respected. From time to time we offer programs and workshops for young people and their families, focusing on living skills and personal development for young people, as well as parenting support.
Our Youth Caseworkers have many years of experience in supporting young people and their families, and come from a variety of backgrounds. They understand the sensitive nature of supporting young people, as well as having in-depth knowledge of the many issues that young people can face during adolescence.
Our staff will respect your privacy and right to confidentiality, and will always act ethically, in the best interests of supporting young people and their families.
